Tech Tip: How to Add URL Links to Your Site

Often, financial professionals want clients and prospects to have easy access to other web sites. The Wall Street Journal, for example, is a popular choice.

To add a URL link to your site, simply log on to the Web Site Admin at www.emeraldsupport.com.

Under "Custom Pages," go to the section of your site where you want the link to appear.

In the area underneath “New Contents,” type in a user-friendly name of the Web site (e.g., Yahoo!). Highlight the user-friendly name, then click on the "Insert/Edit Link" icon.

Insert/Edit Link

In the URL field, type the actual Web address (e.g., http://www.yahoo.com) and click OK, then click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the Web page.
